Dana/Spicer Differentials Here
at Hicks 4x4 we believe that the superior design of
the Dana differentials makes them the most durable, strongest,
and most widely used differential of any other
manufacturer. Vehicle manufactures seem to think so as
well. Dana differentials were used at one time or
another by all of the major manufactures including some that do
not even exists anymore. They were used on the front, on
the rear and on both ends in a lot of applications. They were
used by Jeep clear back in the early 1940’ all the way up to
the present in 11/2 ton pick-up trucks and Motorhomes. They
ranged from the small Dana 23’s all the way up to the big Dana
80’s with many sizes in between. We prefer to modify the Dana
44 and Dana 60 differentials to your specifications for your
S.U.V. application. We will assemble them with your choice of
width, brakes, ratios, differentials, axles, and pinion off-set
and angles.

| FRONT DANA 44
Custom-built Dana 44 front differential to
fit your S.U.V. We will build one to your specifications and
options. We offer them in different widths and pinion angles.).
You can order just a housing and axles or one complete with Disc
Brakes, locking hubs, your choice of ratios, (2.73’s to 5.89’s)
and differentials ( standard to ARB’s) assembled ready to
install (complete axle shown above). We use Dana axles with the
large u-joints and Dana gears (standard ratios) with all Timken
bearings. We also offer standard width differential for full
size trucks with the same options.

| REAR DANA 44
Custom-built Dana 44 rear differential to
fit your S.U.V. We will build one to your specifications and
options. We offer them in different widths, off-sets and pinion
angles. We offer housing and axles only or complete with choice
of ratios (2.73’s to 5.89’s), differentials (standard to ARB’s),
brakes ( drum or disc) and lug patterns. We use either Spicer or
Moser 1 piece flanged axles or Warn full floater axle kits. We
use Dana gears (standard ratios) with all Timken bearings
including axle bearings.

Custom-built Dana 60 rear differential to
fit your S.U.V. We will build one to your specifications and
options. We offer them in different widths, off-sets and pinion
angles. We offer housing and axles only or complete with choice
of ratios (3.54’s to 7.17’s), differentials (standard to ARB’s),
brakes (drum or disc) and lug patterns. We use Moser 35 spline
axles, Dana gears (standard ratios) with all Timken bearings
including axle bearings.

DANA 60 FRONT DIFFERENTIAL
We offer Dana 60 front differential fully
assembled to up-grade your ½ ton truck to 1 ton. They come with
your choice of ratios and lockers. Our rebuilt axles include all
new gears, lockers, bearings, seals, locking hubs and rebuilt
Disc brakes. (Call for availability)

| DANA 60/70 REAR DIFFERENTIALS
We offer Dana 60 and Dana 70 rear differential
assemblies for your full size trucks as a replacement or an
upgrade. They come with your choice of ratios and lockers. Our
rebuilt differential include all new gears, lockers, bearings,
seals and rebuilt Drum brakes.

GM 14 BOLT REAR DIFFERENTIAL
We offer GM 14 bolt rear axle assemblies
for your full size trucks as a replacement or an upgrade. It is
a heavy-duty full floater designed axle. They come with your
choice of ratios and lockers. Our rebuilt axles include all new
gears, lockers, bearings, seals and rebuilt Drum brakes. The 14
bolt has a 10.5" diameter ring gear with 1.5" diameter
axle shafts.

Custom-built Ford 9 inch rear differential to
fit your S.U.V. We will build one to your specifications and
options. We offer them in different widths, off-sets and pinion
angles. The 9 inch is also available in standard or high pinion
housings. We offer housing and axles only or complete with choice
of ratios (3.00’s to 6.50’s), differentials (standard to ARB’s),
brakes ( drum or disc) and lug patterns. We use either Moser 1 piece flanged axles or Warn full floater axle kits. We
use the best gears available with all Timken bearings
including axle bearings.
