| The Borg Warner T18 transmission
used by Ford (1965 and up), I.H.C. (1965-75) and Jeep (1965-85)
is an improved version of the Warner T98A. The T18 is a top
loaded heavy duty transmission with tower shift and iron case
and cover. Although the T18 and T98s are externally identical.
The T18 can be identified by the case casting numbers T18 or
13-01. The improvements include more main drive pilot bearings,
no bushing under third gear and no loose rollers under second
gear. The later units also include larger synchro cones on third
and fourth and die cast forks. The T18, like the T98, can be
easily adapted to various engine and transfer case combinations.
The T18 is also very popular with the rock crawlers with its
6.32 first gear, durability and its length. The combined case
and adapter length become very important when adapting to short
wheel based vehicles. These transmissions are available all set
up and ready to bolt in.

The Borg Warner T19 transmission
used by Ford (1974 and up) and the I.H.C. (1974-85) are
externally similar to the T18 and T98, but all forward gears are
synchronized. The T19 is a top-loaded heavy-duty transmission
with tower shift and iron case and cover. The T19's main
difference from the T18 and T98 is the single step idler with
separate first and reverse gears. The T19, like the T18 and T98,
can easily adapt to various engine and transfer case
combinations. The T19 is also popular with rock crawlers with
its 6.32 first gear. But for anyone wanting a good, dependable
truck transmission, it also has 5.11 and 4.02 first gear ratios
available. These transmissions are available, all set up and
ready to bolt in.

| The Borg Warner T98/T98A used by
Ford (1948-64) and Jeep (1955-72) can be identified by a case
length of 11 7/8" and a case casting number of T98A.
It is a heavy duty transmission with tower shift and iron case
and cover. The T98A and T18 are easily confused
because they are externally identical. Differences
in the T18, the T98 has a 6.40 first gear, a bronze bushing
under third gear, loose rollers under second gear and less main
drive pilot bearings.
Because of the T98's low first gear, length,
durability and easy adaptability , it is very popular with rock
crawlers and anyone wanting a good dependable transmission.
With minor alterations to the front of the case and
bearing retainer, the T98 will bolt up directly to an AMC, GM or
Ford bell housing. Then with the large selection of
transfer case adapters, it will fit almost any
combination. These transmissions are available all set up
and ready to bolt in.

| The New Venture Model 4500
transmission offers the best possible gear ratio available for
off-the-road conditions. The extremely low first gear ratio
along with the overdrive 5-speed combination makes this
transmission very desirable. The transmission was introduced in
both the GM and Dodge vehicles 1992. The NV4500 is a 5-speed,
constant-mesh, manual transmission. All forward gears are fully
synchronized. The ultra low 1st gear has a ratio of 5.61:1 and
the 5th gear is an overdrive gear that has a ratio of .73:1. The
transmission case is made of a cast-iron material and the gear
case cover is an aluminum alloy. The low profile of the top
cover provides excellent clearance for 4WD after market
conversions. Unlike the older GM and Ford 4-speeds, the shift
tower location has been relocated farther back, approximately 9
1/2" from the bell housing on the transmission case, to
provide for easier accessibility.

| The New Process 435
transmission was used in Chrysler (1963-1993 ), Ford (1964-1987
) and G.M. (1963-1972 ) trucks. These transmissions have a 6.68
to 1 1st gear ratio in all three applications. While
Chrysler and G.M. applications also offered a 4.56 to 1 ratio.
The Ford versions adapted real well into the early Broncos
(1966-1977 ) and late Jeep CJs (1980-1986 ) with only minor
modifications. While other conversions require more
modifications including drive shafts lengths. The NP 435 is a HD
transmission with cast iron case and aluminum cover. It is
synchronized 2nd through 4th gear with
sliding gear for 1st and reverse. They ran a solid
cluster on needle bearings and a tapered main drive gear bearing
on most applications. Our rebuilt transmissions include all new
bearings, seals, gaskets and whatever it takes to make them a
good reliable transmission. These transmissions are available as
stock replacement or as conversions.

blown up stock transmissions between a GM engine and the Dana
300 transfer case. The
SM 465 is a top loaded HD transmission with iron case and cover.
It is synchronized 2nd through 4th. It has
a 6.54 ratio sliding 1st gear. We offer these
transmissions completely rebuilt ready to install as an exact
replacement or with an adapter for conversions. Our rebuilds

| SM 420 The
GM Muncie SM 420 transmission was used in GM trucks from 1948 to
1967. These transmissions are popular with "ROCK CRAWLERS’
because of it’s 7.06 to 1 in 1st gear.
The SM 420 is a top loaded HD transmission with iron case and
cover. It is synchronized 2nd through 4th
with a sliding 1st and reverse gear. When adapting
