| We believe that the Model 20 is a good axle and is not intrinsically inferior to the Dana 44. But the Model 20 has one common problem: the axle tubes on the Model 20 are prone to separating from the housing. We solve the problem by welding the inside positioning holes on the back of the housing. The housing side flanges are then welded to the tubes. Any welding shop can do the job in about ten minutes. |
